Step 1.

Find the footage you want use for your film.

----> Look throught the footage on this site here, or on vimeo here.   

----> Search/Read through the audio transcripts.  Download them here.

Step 2.

Download the footage you want. 

How?

----> Vist the Vimeo page. Scroll down. Under downloads click "Download the quicktime version."   

Step 3.

Get free video editting software.

Where?

Mac---->Imovie is already installed on your computer.  If not it can be downloaded here.

PC ----> Windows Movie Maker is you best fee option. It can be dowloaded here.

Linux ----> AvideMux is our favorite, but Kino and Vivia may also suit.

Step 4.

Download video conversion software. And covert MP4 files to AVI.

----Skip if you are using AvideMux, Vivia, Final Cut Pro, Avid, or Premiere----

MAC----> Use Kigo or MPEG streamclip.   

PC ----> Use Any-Video-Converter or  MPEG streamclip.    

Step 5.

Edit in...

AvideMux

Windows Movie Maker   

assumption: if you forked over 100's of bucks on video editting software you don't need us to teach you to use it.

Step 6.

Export as Mp4, MPEG-2, or H-264 at a resolution of 1280 by 720. If editting suite can't export then export in highest resolution possible and convert that file using Kigo or AVC.

---->Upload to youtube  or  vimeo

Step 8.

----> Embed your film here.
